Who I Am
Hi! I'm Fajri Farid, an Informatics Engineering student from Hasanuddin University and passionate web developer from Indonesia. I first discovered web development during a training at my high school, and later found even more inspiration through YouTube creators like Dea Afrizal and WPU. Since then, I've been fascinated by how the web can be used to build real solutions, especially ones that solve problems I face myself.
I started sharing what I learned early on, making self-development content in high school, and now continue through writing on Medium and joining tech communities. For me, coding is more than just syntax, it's about helping people, leaving a meaningful impact, and building something that lasts beyond ourselves.
What I Do
I'm currently active in various tech communities, campus organizations, and event committees that support my growth as a developer and collaborator. I'm the Tech Lead and Fullstack Web Developer at recursion.uh 1.0 for an event centered on seminars and competitions and the WordPress Developer Lead at ritech.uh, an international conference for research paper submissions in information and engineering technology.
I'm also the President of Coder Institute and a Front-End Technical Core Team at GDGoC Unhas, where I actively contribute to the developer community through projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
In addition, I'm part of the Education Division under OKIF FT-UH, the official student association of Informatics Engineering at Hasanuddin University. There, I create educational content scripts, search and share scholarship opportunities, competitions, and free courses to help Informatics students grow academically and professionally.

What I'm Currently Exploring
I'm currently diving deep into the MERN stack with TypeScript — MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js, and adding TypeScript to the mix.
Learning this stack with TypeScript has been an exciting shift. Coming from plain JavaScript, I now appreciate how TypeScript helps me write cleaner, more predictable code. It's like adding a safety net that makes my development process more confident and scalable.
I'm not just exploring how to build full-stack applications. I'm also focusing on structuring codebases better, understanding API integration at a deeper level, and writing maintainable, type-safe code. My goal is to be ready for real-world collaboration and take on more complex backend challenges soon!
